‘You’re a F*ckin’ Moron, Dude’: Don Lemon Brutally Roasted By Random Guy During New York City Interview
Ask and you shall receive — a verbal assault, in Don Lemon’s case.
The ex-CNN star, during a live segment for his YouTube channel in which he approached random people on the streets of New York City for interviews on Sunday, found himself getting skewered by one man who made it clear he was not a fan.
“You’re a f*ckin’ moron, dude,” the bald, middle-aged man responded when Lemon confirmed his identify.
Lemon responded: “Thank you, so are you.”
“That’s very nice of you to say, except you’ve never heard anything I have to say and I’ve heard a whole bunch of what you’ve had to say,” the man shot back.
The two foes exchanged an awkward handshake before continuing the sparring match. Lemon said he was “glad” the man watched him, to which the man replied he does not, but he does see Lemon getting “clipped everywhere”; the man then said he used to watch Lemon “a bit” when he was on CNN, “before I realized CNN and MSNBC were full of sh*t.”
Things continued to devolve from there. The bald man, when pressed by Lemon why he loathes the two cable channels, said “They lie about genocide, they lie about all wars.”
Confusion then set it, with Lemon believing the man was pro-Israel. Lemon insisted “they’re not lying about genocide” and that “international courts” have said Israel is conducting a genocide in Gaza.
His foe then told him, no, he believed Israel had been conducting a genocide since October 17, 2023 — 10 days after Hamas terrorists killed approximately 1,200 people and kidnapped 251 others from Israel. CNN and MSNBC, the man told Lemon, are in the business of “protecting Israel.”
Again, the lunacy of the confrontation ramped up from there. At one point, Lemon accidentally spit on the man, which he apologized for. Lemon then said he would never have the audacity to come up to someone in public and call them an idiot.
“[Just Because you didn’t accomplish much with your life doesn’t mean you need to insult me,” Lemon said.
Towards the end of their lively discussion, another man walking along the corner of Broadway and 13th street shouted at Lemon, saying he was a “racist” and “mad because Trump won.”
The laughable exchange ended with the bald man telling Lemon to go find a library and Lemon responding “go find a life.”
Not everyone was as confrontational on Sunday, though. The young woman that Lemon interviewed immediately before the bald man told him he’s “the best.” She then said “free Palestine. Stop the genocide in Gaza.”
Lemon loved it, giving the lady a high-five before reiterating her call to “free Palestine.” He added: “She’s great.”
