Actor Charged with Killing and Cooking His Ex’s Pet Rabbit

Actor Dimitri Diatchenko has been charged by Los Angeles County prosecutors with threatening his ex-girlfriend after allegedly killing and cooking her pet rabbit.

According to CBS News, Diatchenko was living with his ex for a while after they broke up. After she told him they shouldn’t be rooming together anymore, the DA’s office say he “the pet, cooked it and ate half of it while sending her step-by-step pictures of what he did.” He then allegedly warned her he would do the same.

Diatchenko is currently free on bail, charged with cruelty to an animal and making threats.

He has not formally responded to the charges, but he posted this short tweet earlier today, after the news broke:
