After Call From Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Clarifies He Doesn’t ‘100%’ Agree With Trump

In 2018 terms, Kanye West is acting super presidential. The rapper unleashed a Twitter tirade this week that includes claims he’s running for president in 2024 and revolutionizing the fashion world through his Yeezy line.
But every president needs a first lady, and West interrupted his tweet storm on Wednesday afternoon to address his posts surrounding President Donald Trump — all thanks to his wife Kim Kardashian-West.
“My wife just called me and she wanted me to make this clear to everyone,” West wrote. “I don’t agree with everything Trump does. I don’t agree 100% with anyone but myself.

The clarification was certainly needed after the rapper called Trump his “brother” in an earlier post, adding that the pair are both made of “dragon energy.”
“The mob can’t make me not love him,” he added.

West’s controversial tweets started up recently when the rapper began announcing forthcoming music, along with his apparent political future. West also began roughly outlining his ideologies, saying he liked the way far-right YouTube personality Candace Owens thinks and sending supportive posts about Trump to his 18.5 million followers.
Prior to his inauguration, the president met with West for a meeting at Trump Tower in New York City during his transition to the White House. Meanwhile, Kardashian-West supported former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election, despite Caitlyn Jenner being a vocal and ardent supporter of Trump during his candidacy.
