Ann Coulter Pans GOP Response: ‘Republicans Have Got to Stop Hiring Speech Coaches’
Continuing her trend of bashing the Republican Party for many of its decisions, conservative author Ann Coulter expressed frustration Tuesday night with Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodger‘s (R-WA) response speech, blasting it as overly-coached.
“Republicans have got to stop hiring speech coaches. Just stop it,” she wrote during the speech:
Republicans have got to stop hiring speech coaches. Just stop it.

After Rodgers concluded, Coulter continued hitting the speech over a rigidity she believes comes from such coaching:
Her speech coach thinks it's fabulous! RT @j_tripi This response = awkward & uncomfortable. Does she realize there are people watching?

We can't succeed if good Repubs take speech advice from morons. RT @DarthLeger We can't succeed if we tear down those that preach our msg.

I'm giving helpful advice: DROP THE SPEECH COACHES. RT @earnrnurse @AnnCoulter Support Repubs instead of ALWAYS being negative

She suggested a seasoned conservative commentator like Mark Steyn deliver the GOP response next time:
I think @MarkSteynOnline should deliver the GOP rebuttal next time. why does it have to be a member of congress?
