Beck: Wouldn’t Be ‘Terrible’ if McConnell Loses to Dem Opponent
Glenn Beck posited on his radio show today that it might not be the worst thing in the world if Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell were to lose his midterm race to Democratic challenger Alison Lundergan Grimes. Beck, while kinder to Republicans than to Democrats, isn’t exactly a huge fan of the Republican establishment.
So today, when talking about how tight the race is between McConnell and Grimes, Beck said, “I’m not sure that it’s all that bad for the country. I’m really not sure it’s all that bad to lose somebody like Mitch McConnell… I don’t think it’s terrible.”
He did make it clear Grimes would likely be worst, but still expressed his frustration with all the “poison” coming from Republicans and thought maybe it’s better to get rid of it on their side completely so it’s all on the other side’s hands.
