Bernie Sanders: ‘Extremely Greedy and Selfish’ People Will Love GOP Debate

Bernie Sanders has some thoughts on tonight’s GOP debate and how “extremely greedy and selfish” people are the likeliest to enjoy it.

Sanders spoke with Sirius XM’s Ari Rabin-Havt on The Agenda this morning, and they touched on tonight’s Republican debate. (Coincidentally, the DNC announced their debate schedule this morning, a schedule that Sanders already expressed displeasure with.)

More important to Sanders than Fox News weeding out Republican candidates is the content of what the candidates are saying.

He ripped the GOP candidates for believing in tax breaks for the wealthy and rejecting climate change before saying this:

“When you watch that debate, just imagine if you are one of the wealthiest people in this country and extremely greedy and selfish, and you’re going to have ten candidates more or less talking about your needs and not the needs of working people.”
