Biblical Irony: Noah Screening Cancelled After Theater Floods
A screening of the Biblical epic Noah was cancelled at a theater in England due to the theater being flooded. There were no reports, however, of animals scampering two by two anywhere near the theater, nor any indications of large sea vessels anywhere in the vicinity.
The incident occurred at the Vue Cinema in Exeter, where staff members saw all the water early in the morning and so the scheduled showing of Noah was cancelled because of flooding. The theater explained afterwards, “We can confirm that there was flooding at Vue Exeter on Friday 4th April due to a fault with an ice machine.”
Now, it’s not like Noah was the first movie to ever have a flood in it, but let’s face it, this story would have been way less cool with Evan Almighty.
