Billboard Screen Worker Accidentally Airs Porn Outside Shopping Mall

A computer mishap caused a bit of graphic pornography to be played on a public video monitor yesterday in a Chinese city.

Daily Mail reports that the snafu took place outside the NingboTianlun Square shopping mall, where a worker was using his personal computer to test a public screen for the city streets. The worker reportedly stepped away for a while, but left his computer on autoplay, which eventually caused over five minutes of graphic sexual content to be broadcast for everyone to see.

Stunned onlookers reported the incident to the local authorities, and the worker was brought in for an investigation shortly afterwards. The mall has offered a public apology for the obscene footage, though Chinese media reportedly states that a lot of online conversation shows that people were amused by the incident.

“It’s a good way to attract shoppers to the mall,” one blogger reportedly said on Weibo.
