Blitzer Grills Trump’s Manager on Romney Attacks: ‘Will He Ever Release His Tax Returns?’

Donald Trump‘s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, talked to Wolf Blitzer today, which is bold because CNN appearances haven’t always left Lewandowski looking great in the past. Today, Blitzer grilled him on the evergreen topic of his boss’ tax returns.

During the interview, Blitzer started out nice enough, asking how Lewandowski felt Trump was likely to react to the recent bashing he faced from Mitt Romney.

He then asked about whether Romney’s assertion Trump had “something to hide” in his tax returns has truth to it.

Lewandowski responded by calling Romney “weak.” Blitzer waved that off, asking if Trump will release his tax returns or not. Lewandowski countered by accusing Romney of wanting relevance again and then suggesting that the former Governor of Massachusetts was “colluding with the IRS” to get insider information on Trump’s taxes.
