Congressman Steve King has been stripped of all of his committee assignments by the House Republican Steering Committee.

King, per the New York Times, was seated on the House Judiciary and Agriculture Committees.
The disciplinary measure comes as a number of Republicans––including Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy––have publicly denounced his recent comments asking when the phrases “white nationalist” and “white supremacist” became so offensive.
