U.S. Marine Andrew Tahmooressi Released From Mexican Prison
U.S. Marine Andrew Tahmooressi will be released from a Mexican prison, according to a press releases from the Mexican government.
Tahmooressi had been held in Mexico since March, after he took a few wrong turns in the country and was stopped by customs officials who found 3 firearms in his truck. Tahmooressi had moved to California to seek treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder after his deployment to Afghanistan.
Fox had been covering the story frequently, and in August the White House responded to a petition demanding his release.
