Fox News is adding to its stable of conservative commentators by securing the services of a well known figure from across the pond.
Former UK Independence Party leader and Brexit leader Nigel Farage has signed on to be a Fox News contributor, according to a network press release.
Farage concluded a brief interim stint as leader of the Independence Party on Nov. 27 — his third term in the post that he’d held for much of the past 10 years.
As for what viewers can expect to hear from Farage on Fox News: The 52-year-old Brexit leader appeared on the campaign trail for President Donald Trump and has been a prominent vocal supporter of the new President.
“Brexit was great, but Trump becoming president of the USA is Brexit plus plus plus,” Farage said Thursday at an Inauguration party, according to The Hill. Of Trump, Farage added, “He is a larger than life personality. When he was given the rule book for how you run for president, he tore it up.”
In his role, the network says Farage will contribute to daytime and primetime programming on both Fox News Channel and the Fox Business Network.
