Scott Brown is certainly having an interesting post-Senate career. First there was the truly bizarre night when he may have drunkenly tweeted “Bqhatevwr” in the middle of the night, then he joined Fox News as a contributor and guest-hosted for Bill O’Reilly, and now his own brother has been arrested for impersonating a police officer. Bruce Browne (he added the extra e) was, according to WCVB, “wearing military-style clothing and carrying a gun.”
But apparently it wasn’t just that, for when Connecticut police searched his car, they found he was really committing to the police thing.
Officials said they also found three loaded handguns, 12 fully loaded magazines, a black nylon duty belt with two sets of handcuffs, an expandable baton and dozens of rounds of ammunition.
Browne also had a black tactical bullet-proof vest with the word POLICE embroidered on the front and back and a silver metal TSA badge attached, police said.
Naturally, this story would not truly be complete without comment from Brown himself. Brown told WCVB Browne is “estranged from the family,” but he “feels bad for his kids and his wife.”
