Bryce Harper Starts Fight After Getting Hit by Pitch During Nationals-Giants Game
The game between the Washington Nationals and the San Francisco Giants took an abrupt turn after Bryce Harper ended up in bench-clearing brawl with Hunter Strickland.
During the 8th inning of the game, Strickland threw a pitch that ended up nailing Harper on his side. In response, Harper threw away his helmet and bat before rushing the mound and starting a fistfight with Strickland.
Both teams promptly rushed the field in order to restrain the two players. Harper and Strickland were reportedly ejected after the fight.
