CA Cop on Leave After Twitter Threat Against Protesters
An officer with the San Jose Police Department is on leave today after posting two tweets threatening protesters. Phillip White sent out the following two tweets (one warning protesters who may try to threaten him, and one sarcastically invoking two of the major chants of protests in the past few months):

The tweets were unearthed by BuzzFeed News and the San Jose PD quickly took action. Today they put White on administrative leave during an investigation into the tweets.
White’s Twitter account has since been taken down.
