Chris Christie Reportedly in Talks with CNN and MSNBC About a Contributor Gig

After radio didn’t pan out for him, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is now apparently looking to TV for his post-gubernatorial career.

According to a CNNMoney report today, Christie is in talks with both CNN and MSNBC for a gig, but apparently not with Fox News:

Christie has had conversations with both MSNBC and CNN about possible contributor deals after his term ends, according to three sources with knowledge of the talks.

“Yes. They are talking about a possible deal,” an NBC source said. An NBC spokesperson declined to comment.

CNN declined to comment.

Governor Christie, who recently appeared on CNN and MSNBC, is done with his term in January.

Christie had apparently been up for a Trump administration Cabinet spot, but as Steve Bannon claimed in a clip of his CBS interview that aired today, it fell through because he was insufficiently loyal to Trump after the Billy Bush tape came out.
