Christie: Hillary Would Be Relieved If I Give Her a Spanking Instead of a Subpoena

Sometimes, politicians like to spice up their talks about how badly they’ll crush their opponents by going into some – you know – hyperbolic territory. While you usually get grandiose promises of absolute decimation, in the case of Hillary Clinton, the GOP seems to have this weird yet strangely sexy obsession with spanking her.

Chris Christie isn’t letting his loss at the Iowa Caucus slow him down, because he made quite a few people in New Hampshire laugh today when he promised to “beat [Clinton’s] rear end” if they ever face off for a debate.

“You know the last person she wants to see on that stage in September? You’re looking at him,” Christie boasted. “She sees a federal prosecutor on the stage, I’ll beat her rear end on that stage, and after I do, she’ll be relieved because she’ll just be worried I was going to serve her with a subpoena.”

Christie is known for the occasionally-off-the-cuff comment about his opponents, so it was to be expected that he would have one for Clinton’s controversial use of a private server for her emails. The much bigger phenomenon though could be that the right seems to have an unusual craving to dish out spankings for everyone.
