Cindy, Meghan McCain Shred Gwyneth Paltrow for Comparing Online Haters to War

Gwyneth Paltrow recently said that dealing with internet trolls and online haters is an experience similar to what soldiers go through in wartime. Right. Yeah. Well, Cindy McCain, whose husband kind of knows what war is actually like, fired back on Twitter today, and her daughter Meghan McCain also joined the pile-on for Paltrow’s ridiculous comparison.

Paltrow said at the Code Conference this week, “You come across [online comments] about yourself and about your friends, and it’s a very dehumanizing thing. It’s almost like how, in war, you go through this bloody, dehumanizing thing, and then something is defined out of it.”

Well, the two McCain women were having none of it, and tweet-shamed Paltrow for attempting such a comparison.

Gweneth Paltrow is a joke. Her life is like taking bullets for a soldier. What a joke! My 2 sons serving in the military should talk to her.

Perhaps Gweneth Paltrow should go out on patrol with some soldiers. Kind of like a Red Carpet in her mind I guess!
