Clinton Addresses Press Again: Trump’s ‘Dead Wrong’ That Voters Don’t Care About His Taxes

During a “gaggle” on her new plane today, Hillary Clinton directly addressed the press and took questions for the second day in a row. Clearly, her campaign has taken note of the fact that Donald Trump has been calling her out for not being accessible enough.

She began her gaggle by raising her concerns about Trump and his refusal to release his tax returns. Much has been said about it already, especially given that the IRS has straight-up said that Trump’s insistence that he can’t release them because he’s under audit is totally false. Still, she wanted to make a point about his recent statements regarding the returns.

She explained that when he claimed that Americans don’t care about his tax returns and that it isn’t even voters’ business what his returns contain, he’s “dead wrong.”

Further, she highlighted all of the reasons a voter would care about a potential president’s financial dealings, reviewing how many times Trump has been sued and even touching on the recent news that he was fined by the IRS for an illegal contribution.
