CNN Staffers Reportedly Complain to Jeff Zucker About Excessive Trump Coverage

23138_001_0016.JPGAccording to a report from TheWrap’s Jordan Chariton, CNN president Jeff Zucker got an earful from producers who complained during a meeting about the network’s obsessive coverage of Donald Trump.

Chariton reports that, “At a network town hall on Thursday, producers complained about the obsessive coverage the network has given the GOP frontrunner, including airing full campaign rallies and an endless amount of segments dedicated to Trump.”

One producer even challenged Zucker for bumping Anderson Cooper’s special on the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina in favor of a full hour of Trump coverage. Zucker allegedly responded by denying that Trump was the reason they bumped the special (twice).

Zucker reportedly also responded to the Trump criticism by saying simply “we are not perfect.”
