CNN’s Camerota: Trump’s Attacks on Judiciary Could Put Judges’ Lives at Greater Risk

CNN’s New Day host Aliysn Camerota wondered Thursday morning if President Donald Trump attacking federal judges could elevate the ever-present threat on their lives to a “whole different level.”

“You know, there’s another more ominous byproduct of this,” she said. “Art Roderick — one of our CNN contributors and former U.S. marshal — said that federal judges are under threat all the time, and the U.S. marshals protect them.”

“We don’t talk about that, we don’t know much about that,” she continued, “but by sort of impugning them, it just puts federal judges on a whole different level.”

“It affects their lives. And I just wonder if we’ll hear from Judge Gorsuch at any point publicly,” asked Camerota
