‘Come On’: O’Reilly Thinks It’s Silly for Trump to Complain About His ‘Trump Hater’ Guests

bill trump capDonald Trump‘s Fox News boycott ends tonight with an appearance on Bill O’Reilly‘s show. Trump angrily announced a boycott six days ago after a few Twitter rants aimed at various Fox personalities.

One of those rants was directed at O’Reilly, in which The Donald complained about how O’Reilly was being “negative” regarding early GOP polling and how he keeps featuring “the same old Trump haters” (a reference to that night’s guests Charles Krauthammer and Brit Hume).

Well, in an interview with The Daily Caller, O’Reilly discussed those tweets in the context of diagnosing Trump’s overall appeal.

He said that Trump has been “good for the political discourse” overall despite the fact that “mass deportations” just aren’t gonna happen.

As for those complaint tweets, here’s the relevant exchange:

TheDC: As you know, Trump has been a prolific tweeter. Last week, he criticized you on Twitter because of some of the anti-Trump guests you had on your show. Did you talk to him about this?

O’Reilly: I always talk to him. I laugh at him. I say, “Look, I’m going have guests on the show. Some people like you; some people don’t. Am I supposed to not have guests who don’t like you? Come on.”

TheDC: What did he say to you?

O’Reilly: He laughs.

Trump will be on The O’Reilly Factor at 8 pm tonight. Check back here tonight for Mediaite’s coverage of the interview.
