Congressman Says Apple Risks ‘Having Blood on Their Hands’ If They Don’t Help the FBI
During a congressional hearing today, a member of Congress really went after Apple for refusing to unlock the iPhone of the San Bernardino killer for the FBI.
FBI Director James Comey was testifying when Republican congressman David Jolly talked about potential consequences and future attacks resulting from Apple’s failure to comply.

He said if it does happen, “I think Apple leadership risks having blood on their hands, and I think Tim Cook is gonna have a hard time explaining why he stood in the way of justice.”
Cook is taking a hard line on this, insisting Apple will not compromise its security or the privacy of everyone else’s devices.
