David Hogg Goes After Laura Ingraham’s Advertisers After She Mocked His College Applications

David Hogg, a student survivor of the Parkland, Florida high school shooting, is calling for a boycott of Laura Ingraham’s advertisers after the Fox News host mocked him for getting rejected from his preferred colleges.

This bizarre saga began when Ingraham posted a tweet criticizing Hogg, one of the most vocal Parkland students calling for gun control, for complaining about not getting in to a number of universities.

“David Hogg Rejected By Four Colleges To Which He Applied and whines about it,” Ingraham wrote. “(Dinged by UCLA with a 4.1 GPA…totally predictable given acceptance rates.)”

Ingraham faced a backlash for her remarks, and a few hours later, Hogg sent out this tweeted asking Ingraham for her “biggest advertisers,” along with “#BoycottIngramAdverts”:

In a subsequent tweet, Hogg listed a number of Ingraham’s advertisers, asking his followers to call them up:

Hogg’s sister also pushed back against Ingraham in a tweet:
