Despite Attacks on His Dad, Jeb Bush’s Son Is Urging GOP Unity Around Trump

George P. Bush, Texas land commissioner and son of Jeb Bush, is telling Republicans in the state that they need to get behind Donald Trump.

Just to review, this is the son of the same Jeb Bush who has publicly ripped Trump on a number of issues. The same Jeb Bush who Trump has mocked, derided, and lashed out at for months. Hell, Trump has taken jabs at Bush even in the primary election season.

But his son, as a currently-serving Republican official, is telling fellow Republicans to get behind The Donald in the interest of taking down Hillary Clinton.

The Texas Tribune obtained the following video from an audience members:

“From Team Bush, it’s a bitter pill to swallow, but you know what? You get back up and you help the man that won, and you make sure that we stop Hillary Clinton.”

His father has absolutely ruled out voting for Trump, and both George W. Bush and George H.W. Bush don’t seem enthused about him either.
