Donald Trump Jr. posted a parody video on Twitter Friday that paired clips of President Joe Biden tripping on the stairs to Air Force One spliced with his father, former President Donald Trump, golfing, along with the caption, “It wasn’t the wind folks” — implying that Biden’s predecessor had caused his fall.

The video shows Trump in his regular white golf attire and red hat, hitting a golf ball, which then appears to strike Biden in the back of his head as he falls on the stairs while boarding Air Force One.

White House deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre had told reporters that the windy conditions had caused Biden’s fall, according to the New York Post. “It’s pretty windy outside,” said Jean-Pierre. “It’s very windy. I almost fell coming up the steps myself.”

The Post also noted that the National Weather Service reported that Joint Base Andrews in Maryland (where Air Force One departed for Biden’s Atlanta visit today) was “experiencing winds of more than 20 miles per hour with gusts up to 25 mph.”

Biden did not require medical attention after the incident and Jean-Pierre told reporters that he was “doing 100 percent.”
