Donald Trump is Absent From Minnesota’s General Election Ballot
Minnesota’s general election ballot has only four days before it gets finalized for November, but there’s a rather significant candidate whose name appears to be missing.
As of Thursday, Donald Trump is absent as a choice on the North Star state’s presidential ballot. The Minnesota Republican party is reportedly at work to fix the problem, though they only have until Monday to file the necessary paperwork to get Trump and Mike Pence on the list.
Interestingly enough, Gary Johnson, Jill Stein, Evan McMullin are currently on the ballot as alternatives to Hillary Clinton. These three are accompanied by other long-shots such as Roque De La Fuente of the American Delta Party, Legal Marijuana Now’s Dan R. Vacek, and Alyson Kennedy of the Socialist Workers Party.
Here’s a screenshot of what the ballot looks like right now on the Minnesota Secretary of State’s website.
