Donald Trump’s Pick For CIA Director Likes Tweet Calling John Kerry a ‘Traitor’

President-elect Donald Trump‘s pick for CIA director Mike Pompeo liked a tweet Wednesday that called Secretary of State John Kerry a “traitor.”

The Kansas Republican liked a tweet that also called Kerry “Vietnam’s worst export” shortly after his speech defending the Obama administration’s approach to Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Pompeo has long been a critic of Kerry and his policies, tweeting in May that Kerry should “stop acting as lead marketer for the Ayatollah [of Iran].”

Amusingly, the future head of the CIA also liked a tweet from journalist Glenn Greenwald chastising journalists for trusting CIA sources.
