Eric Cantor to Join Harvard as Visiting Fellow

Remember Eric Cantor? He was the House Majority Leader who lost his primary last year to an unknown professor named Dave Brat. It was one of the biggest upsets in recent political history, and Cantor has largely receded from public view.

But Harvard University announced today that Cantor will be joining them in April as a visiting fellow for the Kennedy School of Government.

Two months before last year’s midterms, after Cantor stepped down from office, he jumped to the private sector to become a vice chairman and board member at the boutique investment bank Moelis & Co.
