Even Obama Wants To Ditch The White House Press Corps

The White House Press Corp. has been having a rough ride of late. The other week The Daily Beast published a long article about why they were (once again) irrelevant, and just this weekend President Obama forgot about them…literally.

Seems Obama went to see one of his daughters play in a soccer game and neglected to inform any press pool reporter of his plans. Cue outrage. No seriously, the press corp was really angry. According to the AP, Obama “quietly breached years of protocol…broke years of tradition.” You’d think the man embarked on a secret trip to the Kremlin! Obama, meanwhile, basically told the press to suck it up, blaming the mishap on a scheduling mix-up. Bret Baier reports below.
