Last January, Quentin Tarantino sued Gawker for leaking an early draft of his script for The Hateful Eight. He was so angry about the transgression that he said he would not be directing the Western follow-up to Django Unchained as planned.

But then, a few months later, Tarantino evidently changed his mind, telling a Comic-Con audience, “Yes, we are going to be doing The Hateful Eight.”

Now, we have our first teaser trailer for the film, which revolves around bounty hunters holed up during a blizzard in post-Civil War Wyoming. The cast of the film, which features Kurt Russell, Samuel L. Jackson and Tim Roth, among other Tarantino veterans, remains nearly identical to the one that performed a reading of the director’s script last April in Los Angeles.

The biggest change appears to be the presence of Jennifer Jason Leigh, who has taken over the part of Daisy Domergue from Amber Tamblyn. Channing Tatum has also been rumored to appear in the film as an unspecified role, but does not appear in the trailer.
