Fists Fly On Indian TV’s “In Your Face” Debate

In a cross between The Jerry Springer Show and CNN’s old Crossfire, a news show on Indian television featured two guests who were so passionate about the issue they were debating that they violently slapped one another at a point of disagreement.  Who knows what they were arguing (Indian translation anyone?), but everyone needs a break from civil, mature discourse every once in a while, right?

With the popularity and ratings success of professional wrestling, maybe a political debate show with actual brawling might not be such a bad idea?  The ratings of Parker/Spitzer sure would increase if the two donned boxing gloves.
