FOIA Report Shows that Hillary Staffer Lost Personal Phone Containing Classified Emals
A Freedom of Information Act lawsuit has turned up a new bit of information that could mean more bad news for Hillary Clinton‘s email scandal. Even as the democratic heavyweight is still shrugging off concerns surrounding her decisions as Secretary of State, it seems that her chief of staff at the State Department might also have put classified information in danger.
New records reported by The Daily Caller say that Cheryl Mills lost her personal Blackberry, with which she sent emails containing some of the classified information that passed through Clinton’s private server.
“Somewhere b/w my house and the plane to nyc yesterday my personal bb got misplaced; no on [sic] is answering it thought [sic] I have called,” Mills wrote with a personal email account to Bryan Pagliano, the IT staffer managing Clinton’s server at the time.

The records indicate that the State Department retroactively determined that certain emails sent and received by Mill’s phone held classified intel. While the content appeared to concern situations in Guinea and Haiti, The Daily Caller said it was unknown what other kinds of information was lost, or if Mills ever found the phone.
This could prove to be the latest bit of scrutiny Clinton faces on the scandal, having just come off of reports that her server held emails that contained information of the highest levels of secrecy.
