The newest video is something of an extended edition of the third video, which depicted Planned Parenthood regional vice president Savita Ginde discussing the prices of fetal organs which watching a technician dig through the remains of an aborted fetus. The first part of the video features a meeting between Ginde and the undercover activists, while the second contains more gruesome comments about the dissection.
The video claims to show Ginde discussing which abortion techniques will provide intact aborted fetuses. “Intact, so we do basically D & Es [dilation and extraction]. Intact is probably less than 10%. Sometimes, if we get, if someone delivers before we get to see them for a procedure, then we are intact.”
Intact dilation and extraction is also known as partial-birth abortion, which was banned by Congress in the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2003. Performing intact dilation and extraction is punishable by up to two years in prison.
Later in the video, as Ginde stands over the fetal remains and discusses prices, she and other Planned Parenthood employees use language that seems to affirm the fetus’s humanity.
“It’s a baby,” Ginde tells the undercover agents, as another employee points out what used to be limbs.
“And another boy!” jokes the medical assistant, as the video ends.
