Fox News Launches Its First iPad App

Today, Fox News launched its first (free!) iPad application, allowing Fox’s audience to access to the channel while at school, work, in the subway, or enjoying a slice of Famiglia pizza.

The app allows users to watch videos, catch breaking news alerts, and even listen in on Fox News Radio. It also includes a “Happening Now” feature that gives users a quick look at the Fox News ticker and the network’s latest headlines, all sent directly to their desktops.

Jeremy Steinberg, Fox News’ head of digital ad sales, said the network had been waiting for the right moment to release the app, while allowing that it may feature additional features – like live video – at some point in the future.

Users can also use the app to share content through Facebook, Twitter, and email.

Intrigued? Interested? Hungry for pizza? You can download the app through Apple’s app store.
