Fox News Wants to Know Whether or Not You’d Vacation with Hillary
The 24-hour news cycle is always trying to find new ways to innovate, be it end-of-the-world broadcasts taped in advance or holographic farm animals. But all that tomfoolery needs to stop, because Fox News just beat everyone to the punch.
How? By polling potential voters about which — if any — of the 2016 presidential candidates (announced thus far) they would want to vacation with. Yes, this really happened, and Fox & Friends discussed it at length. Chris Wallace refused to play along.
In a much larger poll, participants were asked which candidates — from either party — would they MOST and LEAST want to go on a vacation with. Unsurprisingly, announced candidates who’ve either (a) been in the running the longest, or (b) received the most coverage were at the top of the MOST and LEAST tabulated results. Names like Hillary Clinton, Jeb Bush Rand Paul — hell, even Donald Trump made the finals.
Interestingly, Clinton achieved top status for a named candidate in both the MOST and LEAST categories, with 22% and 31% respectively. Turns out Fox News viewers aren’t too keen on spending any extended amount of time with the leading Democratic candidate. Who knew?
Then again, there’s the blatant fact that 25% of those polled chose “None of the above” for the MOST question, meaning that they — like most Americans — wouldn’t want to spend any of their time vacating with any of the presidential candidates.
