George Conway Gives Constitutional Rebuke To Trump’s Call on Jeff Sessions to Target Enemies

Judging by the recent profile where she said that her husband’s tweets are a “disrespectful” violation of decency against President Trump, Kellyanne Conway probably won’t be happy about this at all.
George Conway is back on Twitter, and he took notice of Trump’s latest online demands that Attorney General Jeff Sessions launch investigations into his various political foes. As we previously noted, Trump seemed to sarcastically praise Sessions for saying the Justice Department “will not be improperly influenced by political considerations.”
“Department of Justice will not be improperly influenced by political considerations.” Jeff, this is GREAT, what everyone wants, so look into all of the corruption on the “other side” including deleted Emails, Comey lies & leaks, Mueller conflicts, McCabe, Strzok, Page, Ohr……

Mr. Conway isn’t shy about raising his objections to the president, and as you can see below, he did it again. Beyond him throwing the Constitution in Trump’s face, take note of how he put quotations around the word “president.”
What everyone should want, and the country needs, is a “President” capable of comprehending what it means to “take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.” Art. II, § 3. https://t.co/V80OUR6Z7O

That wasn’t the only thing Conway did online this morning though. He also mocked Trump and Sessions for deliberately avoiding chances to speak with each other about their problems face-to-face.

And here’s some stuff Conway retweeted as well:
Impeachment talk intensified this week after Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen, pleaded guilty Tuesday to eight charges https://t.co/jbCCZ02z4k

Nixon dangled pardons for Haldeman, Ehrlichman and Mitchell. Watergate committee chief counsel said Nixon would’ve been impeached for this too if they had known. https://t.co/pRPDRXFaxo https://t.co/2t8ek2BT3r

Doesn’t get less subtle. Trump – on record – calls Manafort “brave” for not flipping, then Rudy goes on record to float pardon. https://t.co/qnUtwwASHR

Me too. The 1980s mob cases made by the SDNY and FBI under Giuliani all made extensive use of cooperators (“flippers”), many of them serial murderers. Outlaw cooperators and you outlaw serious law enforcement. https://t.co/hwAgXQDrnQ

UPDATE: Conway wasn’t finished yet.
They might say nothing, because they might perceive that the system was so strong, its checks and balances so robust, that the “president” is reduced to lamely tweeting insults at his attorney general, with no effect other than to continue to erode his own moral authority.
