Rudy Giuliani has been blasting off on the media a lot lately, and he’s doing so again by blaming the press for the suggestion that Donald Trump called for gun rights supporters to deal with Hillary Clinton.
The former New York mayor introduced Trump at his rally last night in North Carolina, where he joined the chorus of Trump defenders saying that the mogul’s comments were either a joke or misunderstood.
“What he said very clearly was that if Hillary Clinton were elected president, she would get to appoint judges to the Supreme Court, and among the other things that they would do to destroy us, would be to do away with the Second Amendment and your right to bear arms,” Giuliani said.

Trump received new backlash on Tuesday after an insinuation he made that “Second Amendment people” could take it upon themselves to stop Clinton or any anti-gun justices she might name to the Supreme Court. Giuliani wrote off the outrage as press “distortion” that proves the media is on Clinton’s side
“To buy that, you have to be corrupt because if you said that to me, I would say to you: ‘Are you out of your mind?'”
