GOP Rep. Shreds ‘Sexist Scumbag’ Schweitzer for Feinstein Comments
It’s rare to see members of Congress defending political rivals, but Republican Mike Coffman stood up in defense of Senator Dianne Feinstein today after Brian Schweitzer said in a profile that her hypocrisy on government surveillance is like a prostitute on a street corner acting like a nun all of a sudden.
In case you need a reminder, Schweitzer said, “She was the woman who was standing under the streetlight with her dress pulled all the way up over her knees, and now she says, ‘I’m a nun,’ when it comes to this spying!… I mean, maybe that’s the wrong metaphor—but she was all in!”
Feinstein gave a short, curt reaction to Schweitzer’s comments, but Coffman was positively indignant about those kind of comments being directed at a United States senator.
What kind of sexist scumbag says something like this? Diane Feinstein has more class in her pinky than Schweitzer has in his 20 gallon hat

And Feinstein could teach the Mouth of Montana more than a thing or two about foreign policy http://t.co/5JCWCfbw4E

Schweitzer has yet to comment on or apologize for his remarks.
