Hillary Campaign Touted Endorsements from People Who Haven’t Endorsed Her
Hillary Clinton‘s campaign yesterday released a long list of people endorsing her, including current and former black mayors, but there are people on that list who haven’t endorsed her yet.
One of the mayors on the list is none other than the mayor of Wilmington, Delaware––Joe Biden‘s hometown. But Mayor Dennis Williams set the record straight today:
Incorrect info about an endorsement, I've known @VP Biden since I was 12 yrs old, if he chooses to run, He will receive my support!

In addition, there are two Texans on there––San Antonio Mayor Ivy Taylor and Bexar County Commissioner Tommy Calvert––whom have made it clear they haven’t endorsed Clinton yet either.
According to The New York Times, Clinton met with Taylor and an anonymous individual said she would “help the campaign however she would.” But Taylor says she also met with Carly Fiorina and doesn’t plan to endorse anyone.
Calvert, meanwhile, was probably on the list because he attended a debate watch party and said good things about Clinton, but explained, “While I appreciate her service and her candidacy, I have not endorsed anyone in the presidential election.”
