Hillary’s Tweet Requesting Emoji Responses Predictably Backfires
Between her campaign’s handling of #BlackLivesMatter protesters and its penchant for ignoring or mistreating journalists, Hillary Clinton‘s second run at the presidency is about to get a whole lot worse. And no, I’m talking about the recent email news.
One of Clinton’s latest talking points is college affordability. Keeping this in mind, someone in her campaign probably thought the best way to approach the touchy topic of student loan debt would be via emoji. Yes, that’s right — the colorfully detailed faces and feces strewn throughout social media and text messages.
So they tweeted about it:
How does your student loan debt make you feel? Tell us in 3 emojis or less.

Needless to say, the response to the latest “hip” tactic of the Clinton campaign is kind of amazing. Mainly because no one is taking it seriously.
