Horrifying: Audio Emerges of Russian Soldiers Begging for Help as They’re Overrun
The audio of a group of Russians soldiers being overrun by Chechen militants is among the more chilling moments captured on tape. The soldiers frantically call for assistance as they are attacked from every angle by militants – help which never arrived. At one point, the surrounded Russian soldiers are advised to capture and hold hostage Chechen civilians in order to negotiate their way out of the unfolding crisis. It is unclear if any of the surrounded soldiers escaped their ordeal.
The chilling audio seems to come from the Battle of Grozny in the mid-1990s. It first hit the web via LiveLeak two days ago.
