Ingraham: Democrats Want to Keep Black People on Their ‘Plantation’

Laura Ingraham went off on the Democratic Party for attacking any African-American who isn’t on their liberal “plantation” and has a different view of the world than what Democrats want it to be. Ingraham was spurred on by the case of a black pastor in Chicago who claims that his church was robbed of $8,000 because he endorsed Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Rauner.

Reverend Corey Brooks said he’s also received some pretty threatening messages over his support of the Republican, and shared one voicemail in which he was called a puppet, a “sell-out,” and an “Uncle Tom.”

Ingraham found this particularly disgusting and reminded viewers of how black conservatives have been treated in the past. She said, “Look at what they did to Colonel Allen West, look at what they did to Justice Clarence Thomas––this is what they do.”

“You can’t get off the plantation. It is their sole province for maintaining control of the black population,” Ingraham continued, “You must be liberal, you must be for certain policies that Al Sharpton and Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid favor. You can’t waver. Because if you think for yourself, you are, as that caller said, a sell-out.”
