Jeb Bush Says Trump’s Remarks Will Enhance Clinton’s ‘Victimology Status’
Jeb Bush responded to Donald Trump‘s remarks that Hillary Clinton was “schlonged” by President Barack Obama in 2008, denouncing the Republican frontrunner’s word choice but suggesting the controversy will play into the Democratic candidate’s “victimology status.”
“She’s great at being the victim,” Bush told a group of reporters after a New Hampshire rally Tuesday. “You know, this will enhance her victimology status. This is what she loves doing.”
Asked by an ABC News reporter whether Bush thought saying someone was “schlonged” constitutes victimizing language, the Republican candidate replied that Clinton “will use this in a way that won’t be helpful to our cause,” but didn’t directly answer the question.

Bush also said Trump lacks “a level of decorum” necessary to win the candidacy, adding it’s “not a sign of strength to insult people with profanity.” “Trump is not going to be president because he says these things and turns people off,” Bush insisted. “I mean for crying out loud, we’re two days before Christmas. Lighten up, man.”
