Jeb Bush Thinks GOP Should Confirm Loretta Lynch, Show ‘Deference’ to Obama

President Obama is clearly pissed about how long it’s taking for the Republican-led Senate to confirm Loretta Lynch as the next Attorney General. Harry Reid said yesterday he will force a vote if necessary, and even some Republicans are just a teeny bit frustrated with the delay.

Rudy Giuliani said the GOP needs to stop blocking her nomination, and Lindsey Graham recently said the stalling is “a sign of the dysfunction in this place.”

And now you can add Jeb Bush to the list of Republicans speaking out against the delayed nomination. Bush was in New Hampshire last night (he hasn’t announced he’s running for president yet but c’mon), and addressed the blockage:

“Presidents have the right to pick their team in general. If someone is supportive of the president’s policies, whether you agree with them or not, there should be some deference to the executive. It should not always be partisan.”

He also noted that the longer they wait, the longer Eric Holder stays.
