Juan Williams Presenting The Pelican Brief At Newseum

Now that his own high-stakes journalistic thriller is over, Juan Williams can relax a little bit and watch… a high-stakes journalistic thriller. Williams, along with Nick Clooney, is slated to present The Pelican Brief at the Newseum for its Reel Journalism series. Yes, that’s George Clooney‘s dad.

According to Politico, the Dec. 9th event is the opening event for the series, which seeks to “screen films depicting the role of journalism in American life.” It’ll be interesting to see how Williams will be able to connect The Pelican Brief, a John Grisham adaptation that features things like Supreme Court assassinations (yes, plural) and a person named Fletcher Coal, to real life. I mean, it’d be interesting to see anyone do that. (h/t Politico)
