Kavanaugh Protesters Bring Beer and Solo Cups to ‘Kegger’ Outside Mitch McConnell’s Residence
Thursday morning, before the initial procedural vote on moving forward with the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation process, protesters gathered outside of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell‘s (R-KY) D.C. residence with 12-packs of Pabst Blue Ribbon and red solo cups — where they drank and chanted “I like beer” as an apparent protest against the Supreme Court nominee’s history of drinking beers.
There are people drinking PBR from red Solo cups outside Mitch McConnell’s house at this early hour. They are chanting “I like beer.”

Not everyone thinks it’s a negative, though.
Ok…. how is this a protest? It sounds like support to me!! I’m having beers for Brett this weekend too. Cheers people!

I understand protesting sexual assault. But if this is a protest against liking beer, I'm afraid I'm among the enemies in this fight…. https://t.co/YlsgsnrTjt

Although it was widely described as a kegger, MSNBC’s Kasie Hunt pointed out that a keg never made an appearance.
The promised keg did not materialize. https://t.co/Y9nvLuvGw5
