Former Donald Trump campaign manager-turned-advisor-turned-[fill in her next role here] Kellyanne Conway is as busy as ever representing the campaign during its crucial transition time.
Conway, who frequented just about every imaginable cable news interview and radio hit for months propelling the Trump candidacy against all odds, is continuing her PR presence, and today spoke with Frank Morano of AM 970 THE ANSWER on a range of topics.
Before Morano let Conway go at the end of the interview, the host managed to ask Conway to give her take of Kate McKinnon, the Saturday Night Live fan-favorite who portrays Conway on the late night sketch show. “She did a great job!,” remarked Conway to Morano.
“Kate McKinnon has definitely decided her future runs through Kellyanne Conway and not Hillary Clinton, ‘cuz I’m still here,” she continued. McKinnon’s first turn as Conway came several weeks ago during a super funny remote bit portraying the crazed campaign manager in desperate need of a day off, but prior to that episode, McKinnon was the show’s stalwart Hillary Clinton impersonator. McKinnon even appeared alongside the former Secretary of State last season in a sketch, and famously sang “Hallelujah” in character during the show’s first cold open following the stunning election results.
“I think it’s very affectionate mocking, if you will,” Conway continued Monday afternoon. “Most of the time she’s got me down pat.”
