Kissing Congressman Won’t Seek Reelection

Representative Vance McCallister (R-LA), who was recently caught on camera smooching with a staff member, will not seek another term, he announced Monday.

Multiple Louisiana officials called for McAllister to back slowly out of the room, including Governor Bobby Jindal and the Chairman of the Louisiana GOP.

The kissing incident occured in December, but was revealed earlier this month. McAllister is married with five children, and successfully fended off Senator Jim Inhofe (R-OK) to take Duck Dynasty star Willie Robertson to the State of the Union address.
