‘KKK Wants You to Burn’: Man Arrested for Threatening Hispanic Neighbor
A Kentucky man was arrested by police after threatening his Hispanic neighbors, pointing a gun at them, then pouring gasoline outside their house as if to set it on fire. Jesus Alamo walked outside just a few days ago to see the phrase “KKK wants you to burn” painted on his fence. There was also a cross with the word “burn” on it.
When Alamo confronted his neighbor, Douglas Poynter, Poynter proceeded to ramble on, shouting, “Fuck you! Fuck all you immigrants!” They tussled a bit before Poynter went inside to get his shotgun and pointed it at Alamo, who was holding his 22-month-old sun at the time, in a threatening manner. The police showed up and noticed Poynter was drunk.
The next day, things escalated a little bit when Poynter reportedly poured gasoline outside Alamo’s house. Alamo filed a criminal complaint, and Poynter was arrested on charges including criminal trespassing, attempted arsoning, harassment and menacing.
